I had come across a pawn ticket to something that was stolen from me from this pawn shop. First phone call the guy played very dumb. The item was quite rare, anyone would have remembered it.
As far as I'm concerned, buying from these guys are keeping the pill heads busy looking to steal your stuff. Go to the big box stores if you want to pay new prices.
After telling the gentlemen I knew he took it into pawn because I was looking at the ticket he suddenly remembered.

I own a computer shop in Harvest AL. A customer came in with a computer they bought from this pawn shop. All of the original owners documents, pics and personal data were left on it. I called the shop to advise them to wipe them. They said the person was lying, even though they showed me their receipt and the date of installation and the files were dated previously. Don't pawn anything there unless you are comfortorable having it just passed on to the next person if you cant pay. THEY WILL DO IT APPARENTLY. Upon telling them what I saw they hung upon me. Nice way to handle customers.
After looking at their pricing, seeing that they are paying $20 for a $250 piece of equipment and his attitude, not willing to help, didn't care who was pawning stolen merchandise.. It's quite obvious how these guys stay open. One sale a day will pay their lease, employees pay and the internet bill.
